Before this

Twenty years of watching people decide.

I spent over twenty years managing restaurants, most of them in and around Oxford. That job is mostly about small decisions made quickly by people who are not paying much attention — whether a menu looks worth the money, whether a room feels like somewhere you want to sit down, whether a place seems like it knows what it is doing before anyone has spoken to you.

A website is the same decision, made faster. Somebody lands on your page with a leaking roof or a house they need cleaned by Friday, and in about four seconds they decide whether you look like someone who will turn up and do a proper job. Most trades websites lose that decision before a word is read.

So I build websites for trades, in Oxfordshire, one at a time. I am not the cheapest and I am not trying to be the biggest. What I am is somebody who will answer the phone, finish the job, and hand the whole thing over to you when it is done.

How I work

Plain English, start to finish.

You will not get jargon, and you will not be asked to make decisions about things you have no reason to understand. I will ask what jobs you want more of and which ones you would rather stop getting, and the website gets built around that answer.

If I think you do not need a new website, I will say so. There is no version of this where it is worth taking money off an Oxfordshire business for something that will not help them..

Let's talk about the jobs you want more of.

A short call, no obligation, and a straight answer on whether a new website would actually help you.
